Attorney Jason Burdick is a native Iowan with over 20 years’ of experience practicing law. He practiced in California before returning to Des Moines. Recently he spent 8 years at Iowa Legal Aid, where he was a managing attorney in the Central Iowa office, specializing in family law, tax, disability, and landlord-tenant matters. Jason graduated with honors from the University of Iowa College of Law and served on the Iowa Law Review. He received his bachelor’s degree in History and English from the University of Iowa, was a member of the Dean’s list, and received the Sterg O’Dell Scholarship for outstanding leadership and scholarship. He is also a Dowling Catholic High School grad.

Jason lives in the Beaverdale neighborhood with his wife and three children. He’s a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Jason enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Hawkeyes, and long-distance running with his dog, Ollie. He volunteers as a youth athletic coach and has been a Beaverdale Little League coach for many years.
